About
We are a 501 (c)(7) club that consists solely of volunteers and meets monthly to discuss lapidary topics, mineral collection and geology. We are the hosts of the annual Fall Festival of Gems at the Kitsap Fairgrounds and Events Center each November. We have club auctions, run meeting programs, and have field trips to local collection sites. We are also members of the Washington State Mineral Council. Scholarships
You must be a current resident of Kitsap County, Washington, or a current paid member to receive a scholarship.
Contact Kitsap Mineral and Gem Society to apply for a scholarship. Information will be announced to local high schools. Each year we review the applications from students who intend to work in earth science fields. Continuing education scholarships will be available as well.
