About

We are a 501 (c)(7) club that meets monthly to discuss lapidary topics and mineral collection.  We are the hosts of the annual Fall Festival of Gems at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and Events Center each November.  We have club auctions, run meeting programs, and have field trips to local collection sites.  We are also members of the Washington State Mineral Council.  Check out their website below and view field trips.  View our Facebook page for current discussions and to connect with others.  We also sponsor scholarships each year.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page to read more.

You must be a current resident of Kitsap to receive a scholarship.

Contact Kitsap Mineral and Gem Society to apply for a scholarship.  Each year we review applications from students who intend to work in earth science fields.  Email Jack and Wilma Eads to request an application and further details.
