About the event
Our monthly meetings are entirely organized by volunteers. Visitors are encouraged to attend one or two meetings to get a feel for the club. We hope you find the club enjoyable and consider becoming a member. General meetings include a few announcements and some business matters, but not too many. Board meetings are reserved for more serious discussions. Show and tell is a regular feature, where you can share something interesting or check the newsletter for monthly themes. Refreshments are provided on a rotating basis as listed in the newsletter, so make sure to check when it's your turn to bring them! There are usually programs at general meetings, which can be fun and engaging! Come enjoy and bring the kids! Youth programs will happen regularly as well. Come learn about lapidary arts, rock collection and earth sciences with us!
